Google Search Console is a free Google tool that shows how your site appears in Google Search — which terms bring people in, and any problems Google spots. Before it shows you anything, Google needs proof the site is yours. RestroSuite handles that with a short verification code you paste in once.
- Get your code from Google. In Google Search Console, add your ordering site's address as a new property and pick the HTML tag verification method. Google shows you a line of code — copy the whole thing.
- Open Search Console in RestroSuite. In the admin panel, go to Marketing and choose the Google Search Console card.
- Paste the code and save. Paste it into the Verification token field. You can paste the whole tag or just the code inside it — RestroSuite keeps the right part. Click Save.
- Verify in Google. Back in Google Search Console, click Verify. Google checks your site and confirms you own it.
You can verify at any time — even before you switch on search-engine indexing for your site. Verification and indexing are separate, so this step never makes your site go live before you're ready.
